Overview

The Government with a view to provide entrepreneur’s with all the information on various Government schemes, improving the quality of services and providing various clearances related to various statutory permissions, clearances, NOCs, Licences, etc. to be obtained by the entrepreneur from various State Government agencies in a time bound manner by way of single window clearance decided to set up “Udyog Setu” at all the District Industries Centres in the State. At first instance “Udyog Setu” was set-up on a pilot basis in the Office of the District Industries Centre, Thane vide GR उसेतू-2004/प्र.क्र.734/उ-2, dated 31st July, 2004. Udog Setu began functioning at DIC, Thane from 15th August, 2004.

Similarly, Udyog Setu Services were started in places where the Revenue Department had its Offices like the district’s of Nashik, Pune, Nagpur, Amaravati, Aurangabad and Nanded and in places where the local industries associations had demanded like the districts of Satara, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Jalgaon, Mumbai (MMR) vide GR उसेतू-2009/प्र.क्र.219/उद्योग-8, dated 29^th August, 2009. Udyog Setu Services were started in the district of Dhule vide GR उसेतू-2009/प्र.क्र.219/उद्योग-8, dated 19^th July, 2010. There are a total of 13 districts where Udyog Setu services have been made functional.

In order to decide the work procedure and for overall management and successful implementation of the Udyog Setu a District Level Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of the concerned General Manager, District Industries Centre. The District Level Committee will function as a sub-committee of the District Level Society constituted vide GR No. COM 1002/ C.R. No.240/02/39, dated 23^rd August, 2002.

Following services are being provided at Udyog Setu:

As per the provision of the above GRs the work of providing above services at the Udyog Setu has been started at all concerned District Industries Centre’s.
