Maharashtra continues to be No #1 in Ease of Doing Business-ACI report in 2016
Out of the 35 Indian states and union territories,
Maharashtra ranked NUMBER ONE for Ease of Doing Business (EDB) in the year 2016.
The research results are based on the annual report
produced by Asian Competitiveness Institute (ACI) research center of the Lee Kuon
Yew School of Public Policy.
This study is one of the three flagship research
projects conducted by Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) at Lee Kuan Yew School
of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore.
This report released by ACI is based on the "hard
data" collected from each state with the results of surveys undertaken amongst investors,
government officials and academic experts in this area and considers on the Attractiveness
to investors, Business friendliness and Competitive policies.
The study revolves around 4 key aspects, further
divided into 11 sub-environments -
Maharashtra is one of the most industrialized state in India. We have best infrastructure in place, ample availability of skilled persons and with best incentives policy with returns on investments, makes Maharashtra a very attractive destination for any type of industries.
